It is an atypical group (unusual and original); it was born from the need to propose a timbre-interpreting alternative, instead of the usual classic concert. They want to face the musical requests coming from a numerous and various audience.
The musical repertory, which has been proposed, includes classic, baroque music, the tango by Piazzolla, some music written for films, not disdaining the classic-jazz influence (for instance, the suite by Bolling for flutes) and the opera themes. They have been created in an instrumental way, with a faithful coping (never forced), in order to respect the original sound. But they’re always in accordance with the timbre characterisitics of the flute, accordion and contrabass.
The instrumental capability, the experience in many different musical genres and the electicity of the three musicians allow the Bolling trio to propose a programme with an effective sound impact, which is also charming and impeccable, from the point of view of the style. In this way they have conquered a great success and they have been subjected to a positive criticism everywhere.
